Hi All,
I'm planning an upgrade of a Cisco 9500 stacked pair and noticed that the boot system shows 'Boot Variables on next reload' = 'BOOT variable does not exist' on Switch 2 (see below), should I be worried?
Ive tried deleting and re-adding the boot statement (boot system switch all flash:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.06.SPA.bin) and of course saving the config but no change;
show boot system
---------------------------
Switch 1
---------------------------
Current Boot Variables:
BOOT variable = flash:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.06.SPA.bin;
Boot Variables on next reload:
BOOT variable = flash:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.06.SPA.bin;
Manual Boot = no
Enable Break = no
Boot Mode = DEVICE
iPXE Timeout = 0

Switch 2

BOOT variable = flash:cat9k_iosxe.17.06.06.SPA.bin;
