Hello Cisco Community, I have Cisco office phone model CP-8851 used and needed to do hard reset because i can't use the phone. the screen shows Admin user/pass which i am guessing it's from the previous owner and wanted to do hard reset wipe all info.
i tried several different hard reset from different model on youtube and none of them had worked for me and i can't specifically find the same model CISCO CP-8851 instructions on how to do hard reset. I would like to know if you can help me the manual instructions to do the reset.

I did factory rest by unplugging the power, plug it back in, I hold the # key till the power back on and entered 123456789 and that didn't worked for me.
All the videos I looked up on YouTube for factory resetting were all the same steps even though they were an old models, i wonder if new models has different factory reset instructions?

Use these steps to reset the phone to factory default settings using the phone keypad.
You have two methods to perform the factory reset by using the keypad:
Method 1 (recommended): Press # > 123456789*0#
Method 2: Press 0 > 369#
You must know if your phone is an original hardware release or if the hardware has been updated and re-released.
