Dear Colleagues,

I'm reaching out to the community to seek clarification regarding the upgrade of Cisco ISE from version 2.7 patch 8 to 3.2 patch 2. Currently, I have a cluster consisting of two virtual nodes, both with the following specifications:

  • OS: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (64-bit)
  • CPU: 24, 1101 MHz
  • RAM: 96GB
  • Swap memory: 8GB
  • HDD: 600GB | Thin Provisioning

I've consulted the upgrade matrix available at the following link: ISE Version Upgrade Matrix. However, it's not yet clear to me whether I can directly upgrade to version 3.2 patch 2 or if I need to first update to patch 10 (latest) of release 2.7.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could provide clarification on this version transition, and if there are any risks or particular considerations to be aware of during the upgrade process.

Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.

Best regards,

kekkophone
