Cisco Spaces Connector max AP count?

Right now I have a setup with about 9000 ap with two connectors, total 18000ap, with 8 WLC.

The system was designed when 2.3 was out a few years ago. Now with 3.0 the option for Active-Active exists. I'm thinking of moving the configuration into a High Avilability with Active-Active.

The recommend is 2 vCPU and 4gb ram for 12500ap. According the link below but its hard to see how the scaling is. It's only about 30% more APs per connector.

Can I just double the requirements to double the AP count? Anyone running a large deplyment in HA mode?

Looks like that is Limitation still i guess maximum 12.5K as per 3.0

If i were you i will make 2 x HA nodes and split the 4 WLC in to each space HA, any way all the data send to cloud any way

i am sure this way it should work, But again this is my view, may be TAC can give you more advise.
