Hello!
I am writing here, as I have a Cisco UCS C220 M3 server, which has been out of support and after end of life for a couple of years already (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/obsolete/servers-unified-computing/cisco-ucs-c220-m3-rack-server.html).
As this server is still in good shape and I do not see the point in wasting such good hardware if it can still be reused, I wanted to re-flash the BIOS/firmware on it, to keep it running, as currently, I am experiencing issues with it (slow-down, laggy BIOS, fans speed up to 100% with no load and keep at 100%).
The issue is, I am not able to download the Host Upgrade Utility (HUU) ISO, because it is behind a login screen, and even if I have a Cisco account, the server no longer has any support attached to it, so I am unable to download the files as I get an error, but the files are still being served on Cisco's site (https://software.cisco.com/download/home/284296253/type/283850974/release/3.0(4s)).
So, I have the hardware, there is no support for it anymore, you cannot request a new contract for support as it is end-of-life already. So there is no way to download the BIOS update utility. I have written about this to Cisco support, and there is currently no way for them to provide this without the support contract (which right now is impossible to get) - so you may see the conundrum.
My question is then, does anybody still have access to the ucs-c220-huu ISOs, and can somebody provide me with a version to download so I can restore this old retired server and still use it?
