Commands for most complete config backups?

This is just for my own informational purposes, but I'm looking to have a thorough backup of my switch configs. Obviously back up the show run output, but any other useful commands to also export?

Bonus points if there's a better method of saving a full config of a standalone Cisco switch than just copying output of some show commands into text file...?

You could add:

'show version': Provides hardware and software information, including the software version and hardware serial numbers.

'show inventory': Lists detailed information about the hardware components.

Backup config files on a didicated server. Use sftp or scp to secure the copy flow.
