I am attempting to convert some Cisco CP-7841 phones from Enterprise to MPP Firmware. I purchased conversion license L-CP-E2M-78XX-CNV= and was able to input the MAC and download a zip file containing <MAC>.lic for conversion. I installed the MPP firmware package on it and it is locked in Webex Only mode. I can't figure out how to input the license key to tell it that I bought the license for it. I have a TFTP server set up to upload it into the phone with once I figure out how to do it. I did this a few years ago with different models of Cisco phones, and I still have cmterm-88xx.TLexE2M-11-3-4C-330_REL.zip and cmterm-8832.TLexE2M-11-3-4C-330_REL.zip which if I remember right were special firmware I had to use for the conversion. I can't find that firmware for the 7800 series phone. How do I get it?

On the bar codes on the back, I see PID VID: CP7841-K9= V05

I don't have access to CUCM. I just have an Asterisk PBX with a TFTP server, so I can't use the instructions for "UCM-based manual migration method (Enterprise to MPP)" as detailed in the document. I need a method where I can take the license file and either "show" it to the phone that I have loaded MPP firmware on but is locked or load a different conversion firmware like I had for the 8800 series phones that I converted a few years ago.

mmm ok.
So, place both the migration firmware and license file on your TFTP server and reboot the phone — it should install license, and transition to MPP...

That's what I would like to do. I don't know how to get the migration firmware though. Can I download it from the Cisco site after I log in? I only see the regular CUCM and MPP firmware packages.

The proper term for what I need is "transition firmware".
