I'm new to Virtual environments and I need just a little guidance.
I just installed FTDv in VMware and I have everything booted up and I am at the main page.
I see the management interface is GREEN but two of the interfaces are AMBER with "X" in them, denoting that they are on but not connected. Since I am in a virtual environment, I'm not sure how to "connect" those interfaces to anything.
The FTDv is set up in vcenter and is on a distributed switch. I have it on a management distributed portgroup and everything looks correct. All other VMs on this switch and portgroup(s) have connectivity to the internet. I can ping the managment interface from a difference VM on the same network, and from my physical PC.
I know it is something I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.
If there is a guide somewhere could someone point me to it? or if someone can help guide me, that would be greatly appreciated also.
