Quick question; I'm looking to sell our old BE4000 appliance and I want to wipe it before hand. The manual says you can log in using ssh ("ssh status@169.254.100.1") with no password and kick off a reset process. However, when I try to connect via ssh it doesn't work. I also tried some random passwords (status, password, qwerty, etc.) but nothing worked. I guess I don't really have to log into the machine, I just want to make sure it's wiped before someone else gets it. Is there a hardware wipe button or something? Something like "insert a paper clip into the hole and turn on the appliance"?
