I wanted to know, if there are some information regarding command differences between IOS releases.
Currently I'm running some 9300er switches with IOS-XE 16.6. We're planning to upgrade to IOS-XE 17.3. I know, there are some command changes, for instance "ip domain-name" changed to "ip domain name"
So, I would like to know
- where to find a sheet or overview of changed commands (If I don't know, when this command changes, e.g. is change in ios-xe 16.9, 16.12., 17.1, etc.)
- Is there an automatic adjustment in IOS which transforms "wrong" commandos for new IOS in "correct" one (see example above, command "ip domain-name" changes automatically to "ip domain name"
I know there is a command history for each command. But my switch configs have myriads of commands. Do I have to check every single command?
