IOS Upgrade

Hello, 

We have upgraded our C1111-4P/8P box from IOS 16.9.4 to 16.12.4

Noticed that no ip boot server is present in OLD IOS and missing in upgraded IOS

Any idea on why is it absent and will it create any functional impact on any services. 

Other is , 

Observed that under WAN interface interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1

media-type rj45 is added and missing in OLD IOS. Will this affect the WAN interface.

Your help will be appreciated to know if someone has come across this scenarios.

As the new IOS path moving, some command may have default commands, so check show run all give you more information about the commands.

new switches or ports are unified ports, so you can change from SFP or RJ45 this may not be applicable to some hardware, but this was available universal release as per i know.

suggest reading the release notes for the changes.
