Re: ISR1100-4G stuck in ROMMON ver 17.4(2r)

Hello everyone,

My ISR1100-4G is stuck in ROMMON ver 17.4(2r). I tried to boot via usb with verious version but it all return with "Unsupported package header version" and "Failed to boot file". Bellow are once of an example log:

- isr1100be-universalk9.17.12.04b.SPA.bin
- c1100-ucmk9.16.12.5.SPA.bin
- isr1100be-universalk9.17.12.02.SPA.bin

I hope you guy can tell me the right version to download and successful boot into my device.

Direct upgrade from 17.3.X (and earlier) to 17.12.X (and later) is not allowed -- This info is not documented anywhere else.

Upgrade first to 17.6.X or 17.9.X and then upgrade to 17.12.X (and later).

Hi Leo Laohoo

Thank for answering. But currently iam stuck in Rommon . Will IOS XE 17.6.x or 17.9.x will allow me to boot back normally ? Or are you try to tell me that i already fell into the "silent" boot-crash-loop and i cant get out.
As you can see, I had tried "c1100-universalk9.17.03.04a.SPA.bin" and "c1100-universalk9.16.12.04.SPA.bin" but them both got Unsupported package header and they are old software

If the router is still in ROMMON, post the complete output to the command "set".
