Hi everyone,
This is my first post here, I bought a used Cisco 1921 that comes with a security license (main reason), I have 2 challenges with this one :
- Only a basic web interface like when you have with no gui at all.
- Can't export the license.
I would like to upgrade the IOS but fears that I'll lose the license with it, here is the output of the flash command :
hme-prd-rtr#show flash: -#- --length-- -----date/time------ path 1 45789800 Sep 25 2010 01:00:02 c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M3.bin 210792448 bytes available (45793280 bytes used)

Your Cisco 1921-SEC/K9 part number is just a marketing code. All it says is that security license was enabled from the factory. You can install security licence on any 1921 router. License cannot be exported per se. You can call Cisco licensing and ask them to transfer the license to another router if this one dies and is under maintenance or other special circumstances.
As for configuration professional, you picked the express version, the one that sits on the router. There is another one that installs on Windows. That one is more comprehensive.

1. Since you're new to Cisco, try to use Cisco Configuration tool: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/cloud-systems-management/configuration-professional/products-installation-guides-list.html
2. Your licence will stay the same when you upgrade IOS file, no problem.
Good luck!

Thanks for your answer, also since my router is CISCO 1921-SEC/K9, does this mean that the license is built in and can't deleted/exported no matter what ?

I was able to deploy a web interface using the free web ccp :
hme-prd-rtr#copy tftp://10.76.40.40/ccpexpressAdmin_3_5_3_en.tar flash: hme-prd-rtr#archive tar /xtract ccpexpressAdmin_3_5_3_en.tar flash: hme-prd-rtr#delete ccpexpressAdmin_3_5_3_en.tar
