Hello
I would like to ask if it is actually possible for a Packet Tracer network to access the Internet. For my instance, I am attempting to connect to a website (i.e. google, etc) to download a software on my simulated network. However, the guides that I found were mostly teaching how to access from router to another router as the "internet", and not to google.com, etc.
If possible, do link some references or guides if there are any found!
Thank you in advance!

thats correct. you cannot connect packet tracer devices to actual networks like we do in GNS3. you can only simulate internet with another router and dns server

As mentioned above PT does not let you connect anything to real devices, to host PC, or Internet. However, you can connect to other students running PT over LAN inside of a class. this let you exchange data/packets/traffic between other PT networks, essentially connecting students networks.
