Possible Bug when upgrading from c3560e-universalk9-mz.152-1.E1.bin

I would like to know if anyone else has had an issue upgrading/downgrading from this flash file to another, specifically from a 3560X T-E series switch? Whenever I try to upgrade to -4.E3.bin file, the switch copies the file successfully, issue a boot system "filename" in config t, then do a reload, everything is fine until it starts to load. I always reverts back to the E1.bin which was the default file Cisco had put on there. Then when I try to delete the file (E1), and issue a reload, it goes into switch prompt. I don't have any problems with other IOS images when upgrading/downgrading besides this specific one. Is this a bug? Am I missing a step? Any assistance would be helpful.

** My file that I'm trying to upgrade to is fine and works.

"Upgrade" by copying the BIN file to a switch isn't a good idea.

Try using the automated method:  archive download-sw tftp://<TFTP_IP_ADDRESS>/IOS_FILENAME.tar
