For context I’m a Windows guy. Trying to make some decisions at work on a long term plan for our DHCP infrastructure. It’s a 200 site enterprise with between 4 and 10 VLANS per site, currently running Windows DHCP locally at each site. We want to get off of these Windows VMs at each of these places and move most of that stuff to the cloud but are trying to figure out where to put DHCP. WE could either bring it all back to our data center or run it on our Cisco infrastructure in the schools. The network guys say that the logging capabilities of Cisco DHCP are not sufficient for what we need it to do. My question WHAT ARE the DHCP logging capabilities when running it on Cisco gear?
