Hello Cisco Community,
I am currently utilizing Cisco ASDM version 7.19 in our infrastructure. Historically, I've found that this version of ASDM functions with JRE version 8. However, due to our company's recent IT policy changes, we have upgraded to Java SE version 17. Subsequent to this upgrade, I'm experiencing difficulties accessing and using ASDM.
To ensure that I'm in alignment with Cisco's recommendations and to possibly address any issues with my company's IT policy, I kindly request the official ASDM-Java compatibility matrix, specifically focusing on ASDM 7.19.
Having this matrix will assist in determining if Java SE version 17 is indeed compatible, or if JRE version 8 is the only compatible option as per Cisco's guidelines. This information would be crucial in communicating with our IT department and possibly considering exceptions based on compatibility requirements.
