SD-Access with virtual Catalyst 9000v switches

I'm trying to setup a test lab for DNA Center to talk to Catalyst 9000v switches in a virtual environment, and then to automate then for SD-Access.

I'm making slow progress on getting it working, but keep hitting more and more unexpected errors as I go along.

Has anyone here successfully got this to work, maybe for a CCIE Enterprise lab or similar?

If so, maybe there are some pointers along the way of what works and doesn't work in the virtual environment?

Is this with CML ?

- 9000v node is very resource intensive requiring 4 vCPUs, 18GB RAM per each instance.

Note that Catalyst 9000v image is a beta release !

Which version of the image are you using? As @Martin L pointed out, this is a beta release but it's getting better by each new version.

In my experience the version shipped with CML 2.8 works quite well. The nodes are not very stable though so I usually reboot the nodes before each lab session. If you face weird unexplainable issues(MAC addresses not being learned for example) I recommend trying to write the config and rebooting the nodes, this often resolves the issue. What issues are you facing specifically?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, LAN Automation does not work. PNP works well enough but manual configuration of the underlay is probably the most sensible thing to do since you are labbing.

I tried its required good resource as others pointed and only had Limited features, also it has less throughput at 250K
