Service Contract Required

Hello, 

I tried to download the refplat-20241016-supplemental-iso.zip file for free CML but i got this message when try to download:

Service Contract Required

To Download this software, you must have a valid service contract associated to your Cisco.com profile.

If you do not have a service contract, you can get one through:

• Your Cisco Account Team if you have a direct purchase agreement with Cisco
• Your Cisco Partner or Reseller

Once you have the service contract you must associate your service contract to your Cisco.com user ID with Profile Manager

Already was able to download the ova file, but I have to download this file too as I understood. 

any help with it?

You most probably get the error message "Entitlement Required. Click for support", correct? Are you trying to download CML via the Cisco Software Central (https://software.cisco.com/)? If so, a direct download via that page isn't possible when you bought CML via the Cisco Learning Network store. It's meant for companies who own an Enterprise license.

To download CML properly, go to the Cisco Learning Network store (https://learningnetworkstore.cisco.com/), log in with your CCO ID (Cisco Login), go to the "My Account" page (https://learningnetworkstore.cisco.com/myaccount) and locate your CML order.

Simply click on the "Download" button next to it. A new page will open (a special page on the Cisco Software Central which looks almost identical to the "normal" one) and you should be able to download CML there.

There is no download button. 

I try to download for free version as personal not a company

Make sure you are looking at the correct version: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286193282/type/286326381/release/CML-Free 

If you get the same result on that page you probably need to sign up for CML free on this page, as directed to by the documentation.

The reason is pretty simple!

The file refpl024at-21016-supplemental-iso.zip is not part of CML-FREE and can only be downloaded if you purchase CML-Personal at least.

The free version only includes the IOL and IOL-L2 node types beside the unmanaged switch, the external connector and some host types.

Hence you can only download the refplat-20241016-freetier-iso.zip which contains these free node types.

The other 2 ISO-files that you can find under version 2.8.1 are for paying customers only:

• refplat-20241223-fcs-iso.zip contains additional node types like C9Kv, Nexus, IOS-XR
• refpl024at-21016-supplemental-iso.zip contains the firewall and SD-WAN node types
