Specific License Reserved

Hi All,

I have a question.  We have a new C9200L switch out from a box - v16.12.3a (upgraded to 16.12.04):  

1) We noticed that the "license smart reservation" already enabled - is this the default factory setting? The license status was "UNREGISTERED/EVAL MODE".

2) The environment does not allow internet but after installation into the production environment, the license status changed to Authorised-Reserved.  Does this means at one point, the Smart Licensing has contacted Cisco via internet?  Call-Home service HTTPS was not configured and profile CiscoTac-1 is inactive.

3)How does the license status changed from "Eval Mode" to "Authorised-Reserved"?

4) And what does Authroised-Reserved means?

here is the smart License of Cisco works, all new 16.11.X or before moved to smart License, that measn device need to connect to Cisco smart License server to get License check. ( if more devices on side you can have onside Satellite site Manager)

Thanks Balaji for your time.  The thing is there are no configurations to access Cisco via internet or on-prem.  Not sure how "eval mode" license service has communicated, registered and changed to "Authorised-Reserved".  And what does this license mode actually means?  Call-home profile is disabled.
