Hi everyone,

I have to do an upgrade a stack of 2 switches 3850-48T-E version 16.6.1, because it has a bug of memory leak (CSCvh89372), but I'm not sure about which image to install, because I see different recommendations.

1) Bug documentation (https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvh89372?referring_site=cisco_cli_analyzer): indicates this list of known fixed

Fuji-16.9.1
Fuji-16.8.1
Denali-16.3.6
16.9(0.58)
16.8(0.209)
16.6(3.15)
16.3(5.111)

Everest-16.6.5(MD)

Everest-16.6.4a

I don't see any match between these three options. Any idea?

Hello,

You can upgrade it by cisco suggested version: https://software.cisco.com/download/home/284455434/type/282046477/release/Everest-16.6.5?i=!pp

Also if you run DHCP snooping and/or ARP inspection device tracking will be enabled on all ports including your uplinks in 16.x. You might want to turn it off on your trunk links.

See "Configuring a Multi-Switch Network to Stop Creating Binding Entries from a Trunk Port":

Hi
its also important what image your coming from , you need to be in install mode to upgrade to that code so you may need to convert current setup first from bundle if its operating like that

it's version 16.6.1
