Hello
I am struggling to connect to my home wifi via my work laptop. It worked fine before xmas with zero issues but hasn't connected since Jan 2024. All other devices work fine on the home wifi including laptops and phones. I can connect to work wifi and via ethernet cable at work fine. I can connect this laptop via a mobile hotspot off my work iPhone but not at home. Took my laptop to a family member's house today and it connected fine to their wifi (Sky). So it appears there is a conflict at home.
These are the error messages I am getting:
Cisco Any Connect Version 4.9.04043
Network error. Unable to lookup host names.
Limited Access - DNS Failure
The VPN connection failed due to usuccessful domain name resolution
It may be necessary to connect via a proxy, which is not supported with Always On
As its a work laptop I am unable to access admin settings as these are controlled by my IT department. But, I'd be really grateful if anyone's able to suggest some solutions or some reasons as to why this is happening - a BT wifi issue perhaps? BT are claiming its a work laptop issue but as I've been able to connect to Sky today I'm thinking its something else.
Hope someone can help!

Then this looks something changed at BT end - this is Cisco community, since you have no issue with other vendor
suggest to contact with your BT provider and investigate the issue.
suggestions - check on your DNS Settings are you able to resolve DNS with your company VPN FQDN ?
configured your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and check ?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I will talk to BT again to see what they say. I can see from our BT router info that there was a firmware update on 5-Dec-2023 which might fit with something changing at BT's end. Will speak with them asap to see if it can be resolved.
