Hi all,

I don’t even know if this is the right subreddit to post this in, but I’m hoping to get some help with Webex.

My organization hosts webinars for a few hundred people a couple of times a month. In these webinars, we often share PowerPoint slides and videos (.mp4).

Some of our participants use the Webex web application, as their organization doesn’t allow them to download the software to their computers.

What typically happens is participants can see the slides, and they can see and hear the video when I “Open and Share” the .mp4 file. However, when I switch back to the PowerPoint slides, our attendees using the web application can no longer see the slides. They only see a blank screen (which is usually the starting thumbnail to the video). This issue doesn’t seem to apply to our software attendees.

We’ve tried different web browsers (as test attendees), re-uploading the PowerPoint, switching presenters. Nothing seems to work.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
