API for accessing and controlling telephony aspects

WebEx Meeting Center shows you participants in the audio portion including the "active speaker".  It also allows you to mute, unmute, etc.

Does WebEx have an API that would allow me to incorporate this same information into a 3rd party application?

I did look at that API before posting but it doesn't offer the telephony control features I'm looking for
