Customized email templates

Is there a way to change the font/style used to publish the emails generated from the Webex templates?  We would like to embed our audio bridge directory (the actual numbers, not a web URL) into the meeting invitation template that is used for Outlook/Notes/Google integration.

It seems the templates are built on monospace fonts while most emai clients use variable fonts as a default.   Are they ways to work around this?

Hi Ken,

Use the email templates to communicate important events to users. Each email template has variables that you must configure.

There are two types of email templates:

  • Common–Including lost password, host and invitee notifications, recording availability, and other general notices.
  • Meetings–Including meeting invitations, cancellations, updates, reminders, and information notices.

I would request you to refer About email template For realted information.(For WebEx Meeting Server Administration)

Thanks for the information. I am looking to customize the Meeting

Center-Calendar invitation template.

We are using productivity tools to embed Webex scheduling in Lotus Notes

and Google mail.

We would like to include (directly in the calendar entry text) a list of

our most common audio dial in directory numbers. This is possible via

the free form area of the template, however the font conversions

(monospace to variable) causes the information to appear mis-aligned when

it is transferred to the email calendar invitation. I am exploring using

HTML tags within the template to better format the data, but the number

of character limitations within the template are too constraining. Are

their other options?

Hi Ken,

It's true that Outlook handles HTML reasonably well in emails, it does not always handle it well in calendar invitations.  Further, if those invitaitons are opened in other calendaring applications (Google Calendar, Lotus Notes, iCal, iOS native calendar, and even Outlook Mac), the HTML does not render correctly . I was not able to find any way to code the HTML in the email to ensure it reliably renders in most of the major calendaring applications.
