Hello,

I am facing a issue where we want to add a user as meraki org admin but not able to add since the user is enrolled as saml user via okta,

But even after removing the user from saml group same error reflects,

Meraki support suggests we can user upon disabling saml settings and then enabling but that doesnt seem to be permanent fix

please suggest better approach.

There is no way to delete a SAML user from Meraki’s backend. Only a SAML reset clears it.

Solved: SAML SSO - user/email address removal - The Meraki Community

I am not a Cisco employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

Have you tried using email subadressing by using + keywords? Eg. user+admin@acme.org
