Subscription Licensing add a new device

Hi All

If I have a subscription license linked to a network, and all devices in the network are licensed and I want to add another MS device, how do I go about adding an extra device to the subscription license.

Do I need to apply for a new subscription license every time I add a device to a network?

If I understand correctly, the subscription license may have 2x MX devises, 5x MS devises and 5x MR devises, all licenses are associated with a physical device. If I wish to add another MS devise, I need to update the subscription license - but how?

I have seen document but unclear as to who my 'partner' is. Not sure my wife will be of much help here.

I buy the new device and license from my preferred vendor and then contact my Meraki account Manager to edit my license? Or do I buy just the devise and ask my 'partner' (?) to edit the subscription license.

Partner = who you purchase from

Partner = Reseller/supplier. You need to contact them and communicate the changes you wish to make with them. If you are buying additional hardware your partner should be adjusting the subscription license at the time of purchase to accomodate the additional hardware.
