Block facebook on Cisco Cloud Web Security

Dear all,

how can i block facebook with all subdomains at Cisco Cloud Web Security?

I blocked in the filter the category "Professional Networking" an "Social Networking".

But facebook is always accessable. I think the reasen is https://.

Who can me help?

Hi Franz,

To block subdomains in HTTPs traffic , you need to enable HTTPs inspection in your Scancenter Account.The directions to do so are below, please follow them carefully:

Create the certificate in the portal under Admin > HTTPS Inspection > Certificates.
Create a filter and select all categories (under https inspection).
Create a policy and attach the certificate, filter, and apply to any groups (or all) that you would like.
Please keep in mind, prior to setting the policy to active the end users must have the certificate in their Trusted Root Certification Authority or they will run into certificate errors.
