Internet Performace Slow in Windows 10 1803 with Web Security Enabled

Hi,

I've just started testing Windows 10 1803 and I've found that with Cisco Web Security enabled accessing any internet sites is painfully slow. I've tried getting the latest Windows updates, uninstalling all unnecessary software, upgrading the Web Security client to version 4.6, multiple browsers, multiple network adapters (including wifi); the only thing that improves the performance is stopping the Web Security service.

Is anyone else seeing these issues? Or have you seen issues like this in the past, and have some suggestions as to what I can do to try and fix it?

In case anyone else runs into this issue, the problem was caused by changes in Windows Defender. Adding the acwebsecagent.exe process to the defender whitelist solved the problem.
