I work on the firewalls and have been asked to assist with a project. Basically we have the choice to host an application with some other company and login to it via our network. I can create an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) instance with the company and our internal users can connect to the OCI.
I am wondering is their not a downside to OCI because now
1) is it secure
2) does it not defeat the purpose of hosting something in the cloud
any ideas most welcome
