Hello!
We are migrating from the "legacy" Umbrella Roaming Client to the Secure Client. Based on out experience a simple Secure Client installation is enough, it detects and gathers the previously installed Umbrella Client and its OrgInfo.json file.
But the newly installed Secure Client's OrgInfo.json differs a little but. The Organization ID and the Fingerprint matches with the original content, but the User ID is something different. What is this User ID and why does it differs?
Although the client can communicate with the Cloud and it can shows everything is alright.
I am just curious what is this number and want to know before massive deploy
Thanks!

Hi matr, the userid in the json identifies which admin downloaded the client or json from the dashboard. When doing the Secure Client install over Roaming Client, the json should remain identical. Is it possible that an updated json is being pushed out by endpoint management?

Hello Adamwin!
I found the same, its identifies the Admin who downloaded the installer.
At the end of the day I don't think it matters, it just an ID, does not restrict anything if I am correct.
Tho, interestingly the install guide state If I am migrating from Roaming Client the json should be replaced, but based on my experience the Secure Client Installer makes a copy from the original json and I have to do nothing.
Thanks
