Hi Karim,

Is this a new deployment?

What version are you deploying?

On how many ESXi hosts are you deploying this system?

Are you using vCenter to deploy it, or you connected vSphere client directly to ESXi host?

What version of ESXi hosts do you have deployed?

Is IRP VM intended to be installed on internal network or DMZ?

If in DMZ, make sure all network requirements are fullfilled so that Admin VM can access the network in DMZ and all the needed ports and protocols are allowed on DMZ firewall.

Hope this will help.

thanks Dejan,Here are the answers to your questions:

1-Yes,new Deployment

2- Version 2.5

3- 2 ESXi Hosts

4-vCenter

5- 5.5

6- yes, In DMZ

7- Already Configured and Reviewed multiple times.

Can you verify that ESXi hosts have NTP Client running, configured to Start and Stop with host, and that time is correct and in sync between ESXi hosts?

-Dejan

we did not configure NTP could this be the issue but I will configure it and update you by next Monday.

Hi Karim,

CWMS depends heavily on NTP and servers must be in sync. http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_5/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide_chapter_01.html

I advise you to ensure NTP is configured and times are in sync before the deployment.

-Dejan

I will configure it and update you by Monday,

thanks

One more thing, Karim.

Make sure the DNS server you are configuring can resolve all the CWMS and ESXi hosts hostnames and IP addresses. And ensure DNS server is also reachable from DMZ zone.

-Dejan

All CWMS Host-names can be resolved by DNS and firewall ports are  configured for it but we did not configure ESXi hostnames or records in the DNS  is this is mandatory?

thanks,

It is not mandatory to have ESXi host records in DNS.

-Dejan

This case was solved it was a security issue what we did were :

1- FW Policy

2-  A/V on the Vcenter

Make the necessary configuration and open the right ports solved our issue and now the deployment completed successfully.
