We use cisco jabber in our environment and multiple users (probably all but I haven't confirmed) are have issues with screen sharing. The first time you try to share your screen with someone, it doesn't work. The recipient sees the request but after accepting does not see the screen. We Have to cancel the request and send another. It usually works with the 2nd request..
We've done extension troubleshooting. Different machines, inside our network and on VPN. Different user profiles. The same issue occurs.

What does the PRT from both machines shows when you initially try to share your screen?
I assume you mean IM screen sharing.
