Third party client for Linux

Hello,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a third party linux client, that works well with Cisco IM&P servers?  We're running v10.5.2, and Jabber for Windows for most of our users.  But we have one user that requires linux.  We'd like them to be able to use Video calling and chat.

Quick research of XMPP clients led me to Pidgin or Jabberd2, but I haven't found any info if they work well with Cisco IM&P.

You'd have to have that on separate apps, there is no app that will get you the full UC in a single client. You'd have to use pidgin just for IM, and find a SIP endpoint which is compatible with Linux, and try to register it as a 3rd party SIP phone.
