TMS vs TMSXE with CMS

I am pretty new to video stuff, i would like to understand when i am deploying CMS in the LAB do i need TMSXE or TMS for scheduling ?

Do i need both , please explain to me what are the core differences between TMSXE and TMS?

Have you reviewed the data-sheets of each one? they outline functionality of each and are a good place to start.

You need TMS for scheduling, TMSXE is required if you want to allow scheduling within Outlook.  Refer to the TMS Data Sheet and TMSXE Data Sheet to understand what each does and how they work together.
