All,

I'm trying to install CVP 7.0(2) on Windows 2003 SP2. I get the following error when I execute the .exe file:-

2005-10-13 04:09:01  Unable to find the named value TargetDir in the key SOFTWARE\Cisco Systems, Inc.\CVP.
2005-10-13 04:09:01  Can not determine product's root directory.
The product for this patch does not appear to be installed.
2005-10-13 04:09:01  Installer cleaning up and aborting.
2005-10-13 04:09:01  See the installer log for more detail.
2005-10-13 04:09:04  Cleaned out modal message buffer and stack.
2005-10-13 04:09:04  CVP patch installer has aborted.

Please advice.

Hi Sanket,

Its looks like you are trying to install the Patch for the CVP 7.0 release, even before installing the product, and hence the installation is complaining about not finding the product root directory.
You will have to install the CVP 7.0 first that is available on the media, the software is available for purchase as NFR, NFPs or evaluation kits. Please refer to the Contact Center Ordering Guide for the procedure.
