Is it possible to use CUPI to search for alternate extensions?  I'd like to do something like this:

https://cuc-server/vmrest/alternateextensions?query=(alternateextension startswith 7)

And have it return to me all the alternate extensions and/or user objects that match.  But it doesn't look like there's a way to ask this question of CUC, either via the GUI or CUPI.  Is there a way that I'm missing?  Or is CUDLE the only way?

Thank you.

Hi Jon - unfortunately there isn't a way to do that via CUPI right now. Can I ask what you would be using that query for and/or what type of application you are writing? It seems like a reasonable request so I can add it to the queue for consideration in a future release, and having a little more context usually helps with getting things prioritized.

I had the same question and stumbled upon this post.  There are times when we create new mailboxes where the new mailbox extension is already in use as an alternate extension.  I was looking for an easy way to identify the alternate extension without doing a bulk export of all subscriber data and searching the CSV.  If I remember correctly Unity 7.x will tell you the name of the subscriber when such a conflict occurs, but Unity Connection does not.

Hi team,

Just got this same request from a customer.  Can we do it now ?  Or any other Cnx tool available ?

My customer needs it for billing.  He wants to know all alternate extensions configured on his system (8k users) in order to bill back accordingly but needs to know the "user" it belongs.

Thanks in advance,

Francois

+1 on "Alternate Extension Searching"
