Hi,
one of the most annoying aspects of the Internet age is SPAM. We all hate it, have programs to deal with it, but when tech sites can't deal with SPAM, they lose their readers.
What am I referring to?? SPAM on a Cisco site? Can't be .... but it is. I am constantly bombarded with a Cisco Survey Pop-up when all I want to do is review the various forums. Even after filling it out, two minutes later, there it is again. The annoying part is not only that it keeps appearing, but when it does, it immediately takes me back to the start of the post I was reviewing - not good when it's a long post.
This is a very professional site - keep it that way. You don't need a survey to know how valuable it is for everyone. The popularity and quality of the forums is the only guide you need.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We recently launched a CSC survey and it's not acting as intended. I apologize for the constant pop-ups. We are in the process of removing it from the site.

Steve,
Thank you for your comment.
Our intention w/ the community survey is to gather user feedback systematically - and to use the data to improve the site.
You've raised several very valid points.
We're working to improve how the survey is delivered to our users.
Thank you for your patience!

Hi,
as a follow up, since the changes were made, the survey did show up one more time (which was expected) but hasn't appeared since. Thank you for the good support provided in resolving this.
Regards,
Stephen Shaw
