Cisco AP1800S IP SLA Tests fail: Error response(400/500) from DNAC

Hi!

I am testing a couple of wireless sensors (1800S) with Cisco DNAC and noticed that IP SLA tests always fail no matter what. There's not much configuration for IP SLA tests apart from what looks like a wireless QoS category (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze).

I have checked Assurance logs and it shows the following Error message: Error response(400/500) from DNAC

However, there's no information provided to troubleshoot this issue further.

I wonder why is that and what can we do to troubleshoot? Cisco DNAC is v1.3.3.6 and sensors are running 1.3.3.0

Does this smell like a Cisco TAC case, or is it something we can fix ourselves?

I am not 100%, but I think I may have found the answer :)

Note: The network infrastructure must be running software release 8.8.111 or later to perform these tests.

For IP SLA, the sensor connected to the AP which has the IP SLA responder feature. IP-SLA Responder feature is available on Wave 2 APs-AP1800, AP2800, AP3800 and AP4800 seriesand 802.11ax APs –Catalyst 9100 series AP with AireOS 8.8 or above or IOS-XE 16.12.1s or above software.

We are not on AireOS 8.8 :(
