Hi Guys,
I am currently trying to run up a DNAC virtual appliance in our testlab. I have been trying for a few weeks but keep running into the same issue.
When I finish the setup and trying to get to the GUI, it takes about 5-10 minutes and then shows a message "message":"The upstream server is timing out". This is accompanied by error 504 on the chrome dev tools.
I have rebuilt it a number of times and tried version 2.3.7.6 and 2.3.7.7, tried a few different configurations such as only configuring the enterprise link and tagging it as the cluster link, configuring both enterprise and cluster, using the pre-manufactured cluster option etc. but nothing seems to work.
When first logging on to the web console to set it up, it gives the option to set DNAC up using the GUI, and I am able to get to this address on port 9004, but once its run up the GUI wont load.
It seems to me like its an issue within the VA itself as I can reach the setup GUI, DNS and NTP both validate.
Any help would be appreciated.

Does your VM have enough resources assigned, or are you running this on very old hardware? There might be other explanations, but the only time I've met that error message persistently is when I have oversubscribed my lab host significantly.

Hi Torbjørn,
Thanks for your reply. I am running this on a server in our DC with the following resources allocated, which is in line with the requirements on the ESXI setup guide for this virtual applicance.
This issue happens right after the initial setup of the device, so I don't have any network devices connected to it yet.

Bumping this thread as I am still experiencing the same issue.
Surely someone else has run into this issue with the CCC VA?
