Configure APIC for CX Cloud Agent

Could you please assist us with two questions related to Cisco CX Cloud?

  1. Does Cisco have any official documentation that provides a step-by-step guide for deploying and configuring the APIC integration (Connect to APIC) in CX Cloud, using the CX Cloud Agent?

  2. Regarding CDP and LLDP, we have noticed that these protocols appear as disabled when we attempt to use them in the context of CX Cloud.
    In this regard, could you please clarify:

    • In which scenarios this behavior occurs

    • What configurations or actions are required to properly enable and use CDP/LLDP

Hello @jean-souza 

The integration of APIC in CX Cloud is solely for the purpose of forwarding that telemetry data to our Professional Services portal, Network Profile, which is utilized by Business Critical and Life Cycle Services. APIC will not share any data with CX Cloud, you want to use Intersight as the preferred data source in this case. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/cx/cx-cloud/cx224708-cx-agent-overview-guide-v3-1.html#toc-hId-430876236 

As for CDP as a data source, please ensure that the CX Agent is not already using IP range or Seed File as the non-controller data source.
