Hey all, I have been working with the UCS PowerShell toolkit in the lab and have come up with a version 1 of a healt check report. It has HTML tabs for inventory, configuration, faults and environmental stats. The script also has email support.

I have attached both the PowerShell script and an example of the output.

Updated version that fixes some typos and added a section for the Fabric Interconnects on the inventory tab. I also have incorporated the latest version of 0.98 that allows for the module import without the full path. I changed the way I am handling multiple UCS clusters, I am now using an array that makes it easier to add/remove UCS clusters.

hey, here are some things to try

Make sure you have the latest version of the UCS Power tool kit

Make sure you have set the powershell execution policy to remotesigned

Make sure you can run the Cisco UCS Power Tool short cut and can connect to UCS "connect-ucs ipaddressof ucsm"

Hi Jeremy
I downloaded the script from the Drop box URL you provided on your personeel blog. Where as i can connect to UCS instance manually and fetch the data Using Get-UCS command manually , i was unable to see anything via your script. All is get is HTML file, listing various tabs but no data.

Is it so that this ver of script is tied to UCSM 1.4 or some other version. I am running 2.0 (1 W)

Regards
Sushil

The script works with any version of UCSM. Did you set your PowerShell execution policy to remotesigned? You could also try this; Launch the Cisco Power tool shortcut and the from in the PowerShell window go to the directory where the script is located and run it from there.

Perfect .

Looks like i was not setting the policy to remote signed. Just did it and
was able to generate a Nice 1,2 MB remote. Just as i was expecting it.
