JTAPI observer SIP 8816 model

I am trying to monitor the SIP 8816 model using JTAPI but always get an error syntax "Addressed is Restricted".  I am using JTAPI tool 10.0.1 and my CUCM is 10.5.2.13037-1.  I have CTI Control enable for the station and line associated with the station.  My CTI account also have control of this device.  Does JTAPI support SIP 8816?

Hi Khoa,

  "Address is restricted" exception is typically seen when 'Allow Control of Device from CTI'  is not selected on the line. This needs to be done for the line in device profile as well. Can you check the configuration in CUCM that all lines configured in the device profile assigned to the user has 'Allow Control of Device from CTI' checked.

Also request to post if there is any further questions related to the topic under JTAPI community. This may help for more JTAPI experts to view the case.
