If you were looking to register a phone and test out your application, I would recommend trying out the Collaboration 11 or Collaboration 11.5 lab. These labs have a CUCM Pub/Sub, IM & Presence, as well as a Windows Server. You will need a hardware VPN to connect a standard phone, but you can always connect a Jabber or CIPC endpoint to make calls.
