Extending Sandbox End Time - Not permitted?

I am trying to extend my sandbox end time via the menu item in the sandbox. Not matter what duration I try to add, it always errors out with: 

Could not save the sandbox. The following issues were found: 
- Sandbox exceeds maximum duration

Is there an other way to extend the time, or is that not doable. I can always create a new sandbox I guess, but that would be a waste of time and resources for me and Cisco,

Anyone know the correct way to do this?

Hi Peter,

Your reservation is extended with another 3 days.

Great, thank you very much. So do I need to request extensions here instead of thru the web page in the future if needed?

Actually you can reserve with your preferred duration other than default hours.

Plz i have the same problem i want to extend the  reservation but it doesn't work.

You (and other users) can extend your own reservations up to the maximum duration supported for a lab.  For most labs that is a week, some high resource/utilization labs have shorter max durations.  For those you can request an extension through the community here, however we cannot always support extended durations due to demands on some labs.
