Upgrading an C9500 from 17.3.5 to 17.9.2

I will need some recommendations with this, I need to upgrade couple C9500's from 17.3.5 to 17.9.2, just need to know if there is any limitations or restrictions by doing this.

For C9500, the recommended Cisco IOS-XE release is 17.3.6/17.6.5. The recommendations stated here are current as of April 2023, and are periodically updated when appropriate.

  Why are you upgrading? It is due TAC recommendation or any new feature you need to implement and does not exist on the current version?

A good place to check information like this is in the release notes.  As you know your environment better, you can make sure you dont have any incompatibility.

We are upgrading the C9300 we have in the same office to that version, so we was thinking to have all devices running the same version for consistance.

Correct. Well, is not a huge change. As you can see from the print I shared, there had not been any huge change. So,  you are good.

 Of course,  bugs can pop up and no one can predict it but if you already have the New version running, you have some parameter
