Regarding the attached pic,
I could recreate that network in Packet Tracer succesfully but by doing it with ip local pool command on the ISP Router, adding static default route through Dialer1 interface and ip auto neg on R1, that is, the pppoe client.
In the Book where the pic was taken (ICDN1),the author mentioned that the default route to ISP could be learned through ISP's DHCP server as well as the IP addr for the Dialer ppoe interface. How can I configure it so all the info goes from the DHCP server to the R1 client? Can it be done in PT?
