WLAN SVI for WLC 9800

For the WLC 9800 WLC deployment, is it better to use SVI for the clients VLANs on the box like AireOS WLCs or not ?

normally yes.  You will want one for the internal staff LAN, one for guest working with ACLs, another for management. You want to have security set in mind.

Noramlly No, is better to have the SVI on other Switch, and work only with VLAN L2 in your 9800.

Yo can configures ACL or any other kind of security in other device how is doing switching or routing, and let the WLC 9800 works only with Wireless proccess.
