Hello everyone! Here are the release notes for our most recent updates to Duo.
Public release notes are published on the Customer Community every other Friday, the day after the D-release is completely rolled out. New features, enhancements, and other improvements
- CyberArk Privileged Account Security (cyberarkweb) apps are now displayed as Update required in the Universal Prompt Progress report.
- If your organization wants to use two-factor authentication (2FA) but your end users don't have access to a secondary device, Duo Desktop can be used as an authentication method.
- The Access Device column in the Authentication Log will now show the message “Passport is not supported; Duo Desktop report was not collected” when the Duo Desktop report is not available for an authentication.
- This message will be visible to administrators when the Access Device details are expanded for more information.
New and updated applications
Five new named applications with Duo Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Reminder: Duo Access Gateway reached the last date of support on October 26, 2023. The DAG end-of-life milestone scheduled for March 30, 2024, has been canceled. At this time, existing DAG applications will continue to work after March 30, 2024. Please see the Guide to Duo Access Gateway end of life for more details.
- Improved the performance of health checks.
- New troubleshooting feature: users will be able to check the current state of their device, including internet connection, third-party backups, push notifications enabled and more.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug to include enrollment summary activity logs in the activity log API.
- Provided a fix for M365 Named Integration Attribute error to handle default sourceanchor attribute to accept and resolve a string.
- Fixed a bug so administrators can no longer access the Cisco Identity Intelligence (CII) provisioning page until it is provisioned.
