Hi,
in our setup all incoming and outgoing mails are going through an ESA cluster. I tried BATV, which leads to the problem that all outgoing mails are tagged for BATV. The problem now is we're allowing mail forwards (without SRS). Therefore mails are forwarded with their original sender.
Because these are BATV tagged too, the original sender domain runs into trouble when an bounce appears, if they are not stripping the batv tag from the address.
My question now is: Is there a way to only add BATV tags of outgoing mail for a defined list of sender domains (eg. our own domains) and leave all other sender addresses (the ones of forwarded messages) untouched?
Best regards
Damian

The emails are tagged by bounce verification when going out to specific domains based on configuration under Mail Policies -> Destination Controls.
You can enable or disable bounce verification tagging system-wide as a default. You can also enable or disable bounce verification tagging for specific domains. In most situations, you enable it by default, and then list specific domains for exclusion in the Destination Controls table.
I currently do not see a method to bypass the tagging based on the sending domain.

Hi Calvin,
I do see an internal feature request was filed for this but no ETA on when it would be implemented.
You can certainly reach out to your accounts and sales teams to have them push for this feature in upcoming releases.

Hi,
Is there any update about enabling BATV per sender domain?
